Private Home Visit - House Call
If you cannot visit your local optometrist due to mobility issues, illness or work schedule, Brisbane Mobile Optometrist can come to you.
We provide a full optometry service in the comfort of your own home in Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Toowoomba, Moreton Bay, Redlands, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Lockyer Valley and Somerset Region.
After hours appointments can be organised.
Our services include:
- Comprehensive eye testing including vision assessment, prescription measurement and eye health examination.
- Dispensing and fitting of prescription glasses and sunglasses.
- Delivery and adjustment of completed glasses.
- Visual field testing if clinically required.
- Referral to eye specialists as required.
Aged Care and Retirement Village
Brisbane Mobile Optometrist can visit aged care centres and retirement villages on a regular basis and manage the eye health and vision needs of residents. We bring all the equipment and tools needed - there is no cost to the centre.
- Eye tests are bulk-billed to Medicare or Department of Veteran Affairs*
- Using the latest mobile eye-testing equipment, we are able to comprehensively assess the eye health and vision of residents, even those with mobility issues and cognitive impairment.
- Spectacles are professionally dispensed and fitted on site as needed.
- Minor spectacle repairs can be performed on site.

Clear Communication
- Residents and their family will be given adequate notice of upcoming visits to book an appointment.
- After every visit, the results of the eye examination are communicated to healthcare staff and the resident's family via a clear and concise report.
- Before we proceed with any spectacle orders, we will request written approval from the resident’s Power of Attorney.
* Consultations bulk-billed to Medicare if a minimum 5 clients booked in for the day at the same location.
Workplace Eyecare Program & Prescription Safety Glasses
Brisbane Mobile Optometrist can visit the workplace and perform vision screenings on all employees to ensure compliance with work health and safety regulations and improve work productivity.
We can implement a prescription safety glasses program at the workplace including eye testing and fitting and supply of certified prescription safety eyewear.
Properly fitted prescription eye wear is fundamental for employee safety, productivity and comfort.
