Communication and Collaboration
Brisbane Mobile Optometrist values the importance of communication with family and aged care providers in the management of a resident's vision and eye health. After the examination, the optometrist will personally contact next of kin to discuss findings of the test, email spectacle quotations to a resident's power of attorney for approval and provide the aged care centre an eye test summary report.
We also strongly believe in an integrated, holistic and collaborative health care model for our patients. Our optometrists regularly collaborate and liaise with GPs, ophthalmologists and allied health in the co-management of health and eye conditions.
